Introducing our first-ever Film Club event - Conversations with Khalid Malami: Film Screening, Q&A & Storytelling Workshop
Come spend an afternoon with Khalid Malami (aka LightHusslerx), a filmmaker, entrepreneur and creative whose work explores important topics of youth, relationships, creativity and more via symbolic storytelling.
Khalid started out making gaming videos - Call of Duty, Avengers, that kind of thing - before moving into vlogs about life in the UK, tech, and bigger questions around creativity and the digital world. Over time, his work has shifted into something more visual and story-driven. His short films focus on real people and real moments, told through intentional cinematography, careful editing, and a style that says a lot without needing many words.
We’ll be screening three of his short films:
